What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests vendors and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control access to the property by verifying identification and/or authorization managing visitor and contractor check-in and check-out issuing temporary credentials as directed and maintaining access logs.
- Monitor entry points gates and common areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a visible presence and promptly addressing policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including receiving calls for assistance documenting details and notifying property management and/or emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property common areas and perimeter and complete required reports and activity logs. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A state county and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
