Job Description
As a Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Part-Time in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Monitor and respond to incoming communications alarms and requests for assistance from personnel and visitors at the location.
- Dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents emergencies and routine calls for service as required.
- Document incidents calls and dispatch activities accurately using company-provided systems and/or logs.
- Communicate with on-site staff and management to relay information and updates related to security-related matters.
- Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials and authorizing entry as needed.
- Support Allied Universal team members by providing timely information and resources during incidents and/or emergencies.
- Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of ongoing situations and reporting suspicious behavior.
- Provide customer service by addressing questions and concerns from personnel visitors and vendors in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
