Job Description
Now Hiring Entry Level Security Officers for Corrections at a local Medical Facility!
- Starting Base Pay: $17.00 / hour
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Drivers License
- Clean Criminal History to Qualify
- Site located in Columbia SC
12 hour Shifts:
- 5:45AM - 6:00PM
- 5:45PM - 6:00AM

As a Security Guard you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate Healthcare Education Government and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age with a valid drivers license
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must possess a valid Drivers License with at least one year of driving experience a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months no more than 1 accident in last 24 months no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months) a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required
