Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Quick Response in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a high-visibility presence to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. You will document observations communicate clearly with staff and visitors and support a professional customer experience. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and transaction areas verifying authorization where required and assisting with visitor management and/or delivery procedures.
- Complete detailed activity reports and incident documentation communicate key information during shift changes and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed by post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security experience OR a college degree.
- Be 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
