What Youll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols for healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity incidents or hazardous conditions to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist visitors patients and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal management.
  • Document all activities observations and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
