Job Description
As a Security Officer - Emergency Response Driver in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech media and telecom location where you will monitor access points conduct routine patrols and document security-related activity while delivering a welcoming customer-focused presence. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors respond to incidents as needed and support a culture built on integrity teamwork and innovation.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a tech media and/or telecom location.
- Monitor access control points verify credentials manage visitor processing and badge issuance per site procedures and maintain required logs and reports.
- Observe cameras alarms and other monitoring systems identify irregular activity and communicate updates to appropriate contacts following established protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing clear information to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including building perimeters parking areas and common spaces noting and reporting hazards and/or policy concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
