Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Rounds in Phoenix AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points communicate clearly with staff and visitors and document observations and incidents with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points adjusting patrol patterns based on site activity and direction.
- Monitor for and report unusual activity suspicious behavior and/or potential hazards; assist with access control by observing entrances verifying authorization when directed and documenting visitor activity per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with onsite staff and/or public emergency services as needed and permitted by post orders.
- Complete timely written reports patrol logs and incident documentation and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and/or client representatives as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
