As a Security Officer - Armed Stadium Patrol Driver in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed role supporting professional service-focused communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and verify identification and/or credentials as required by site procedures; assist with screening visitors and directing them to the appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation coordination with site representatives and requesting law enforcement and/or medical assistance when appropriate.
- Complete timely reports and documentation of patrols incidents and observations; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or the site point of contact.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate.
- Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
