Security Officer TWIC Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - TWIC Patrol Driver in Palmetto FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors document activity and support a customer-focused experience through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy requirements.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates entrances and restricted areas by verifying credentials managing visitor processes and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including communicating with site personnel and public emergency services when directed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activities access control actions and security-related incidents and relay observations to the site supervisor and/or client representative.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
