About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead digital transformation and operational excellence at the ABC shaping the future of creative production and workflows. You will embed emerging technologies including AI automation and advanced creative tools into campaign production content delivery and daily this role you will drive innovation enhance efficiency and empower teams to experiment upskill and adopt new ways of working.
You will partner with internal technology teams vendors and creative leaders to modernise systems optimise resourcing and budgets and deliver smarter data-informed decisions. This is a high-profile role where you can shape the ABCs creative services for the future champion a culture of continuous improvement and make a real impact on audience outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
Modernise Production through Technology
Lead the innovation agenda by integrating AI automation and digital creative technologies into production workflows and content delivery
Identify pilot and scale new platforms tools and creative technologies to maintain a digitally progressive and future-fit creative function
Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement upskilling teams and embedding new ways of working
Build partnerships with internal technology teams and trusted vendors to integrate secure cutting-edge tools aligned with organisational standards
Oversee operational systems and workflows across design motion audio content and strategy ensuring they are digitally enabled and scalable
Ideally take responsibility for oversight of workflows within this team; prior demonstrated experience in this area is beneficial but not essential
Lead Clear & Efficient Resourcing
Develop and optimise project management and resourcing systems that harness data insight and automation for efficiency and agility
Own Agency Production Budgets & Planning
Drive efficiencies in budgeting scheduling and reporting using data analytics to inform smarter decision-making
Lead a Culture of Modernisation
Shape the future of Creative Services as part of the MADE leadership team embedding digital transformation into the teams DNA
Identify and translate innovation into measurable value for the ABC driving efficiency creativity and stronger audience outcome
Provide thought leadership at the intersection of creativity operations and digital media
About You
Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent skills knowledge and experience
Extensive experience in operations production or project management within a digital creative or media environment
Significant leadership skills with the ability to inspire mentor and develop high-performing teams fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
Proven track record of embedding digital innovation particularly AI automation and creative technologies into workflows and production with a future-focused mindset and passion for emerging trends
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with experience building alignment across senior leadership technology teams and creative functions
Strong knowledge of digital content production distribution and optimisation
Hands-on expertise with workflow systems resourcing tools and project management platforms
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets resources and vendors using data-led approaches
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to lead change and bring teams on the digital journey
Operationally rigorous while creatively open; curious experimental and energised by change
