Job Description
As a Security Officer - Retail Center Patrol in HONOLULU HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and store teams with outstanding customer service communicate clearly and document observations for follow-up. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests shoppers and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail setting.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors stock areas corridors and perimeter areas to help to deter theft vandalism and other unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances fitting room areas and high-value merchandise zones; observe behavior report suspicious activity and coordinate with store leadership as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with access control issues disturbances and medical situations and/or contacting emergency services when directed by post orders.
- Complete detailed reports and maintain required logs; communicate significant activity to Allied Universal supervision store management and/or local law enforcement as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
