Polis Bantuan (Security Assistant) at MyTOWN Shopping Centre

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Patrolling and static post control crime prevention and detecting suspicious activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

1. Carry out safety and security duties as assigned.
2. Comply at all times with instructions from the Senior Security Assistant and higher-ranking officers.
3. Report all emergencies to the Senior Security Assistant and take immediate and appropriate action in cases of emergencies incidents criminal activities pickets riots sabotage civil disturbances and related threats.
4. Patrol designated routes and locations or any other areas as directed from time to time.
5. Ensure smooth traffic flow during peak hours and emergencies and take appropriate action against errant motorists and illegal parking.
6. Immediately report any mechanical or electrical faults property damage water leakages gas leaks lift malfunctions (where applicable) fire hazards or related issues to the Senior Security Assistant.
7. Monitor record and report construction activities and maintenance/upgrade works within the vicinity including working hours nature of work and noise levels.
8. Supervise outsourced security personnel and monitor the service providers performance to ensure compliance with standards.
9. Enforce all safety and fire regulations within the mall including conducting security checks inspections and audits (Sec Check).

Qualifications :

• SPM with passes in at least 5 subjects including Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah.
• Malaysian citizen aged within 20 years old to 35  years old
• Do not have any Criminal Record & Drug Influence  and have a good health condition and eye sight
• Average height for Male is 165cm & Female is 157cm
• Good health and fitness
• Body mass index of between 18%-30%
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
