Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Own test coverage and quality outcomes for assigned product features
- Build and maintain frontend and API automation; supplement with targeted manual testing
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and enforce release quality gates
- Validate feature-flagged functionality and external integrations
- Create and manage test cases execution and traceability using Jira/Xray
- Partner closely with engineering and product on release readiness and quality sign-off
- Provide clear timely visibility into quality status risks and release readiness for cross-functional teams
Required Technical Skills
- Experience 5 years in software testing/quality engineering with a strong automation focus
- Excellent communication skills both - written and verbal
- Frontend automation using C# with Playwright and backend/API automation using Java (custom frameworks)
- Manual API testing with Postman or other similar tools
- CI/CD integration using or similar platforms
- Cloud-based testing in AWS including Lambda/serverless workflows
- Execution of pre generated performance scripts for the services the team owns.
- Test management release gating and traceability using Jira and Xray including feature-flag validation
- Experience testing distributed systems and external integrations
- Comfortable working in fast-moving Kanban-based delivery environments
