Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager youll play a pivotal role in driving growth across our marketplace by:
- Leading the execution of strategic sales plans to onboard new vendors to the foodpanda platform.
- Introducing foodpandas suite of services and solutions to prospective partners through both in-person and virtual meetings.
- Building and managing a robust sales pipeline identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach and market research.
- Negotiating and closing high-value deals with key partners across the F&B FMCG and retail sectors.
- Gathering and analyzing market insights to identify emerging trends competitor activities and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing Operations and Account Management to ensure exceptional partner experiences.
- Work closely with new vendors to grow and maximize their business on the foodpanda mall platform troubleshooting their problems and achieving win-win results
- Overseeing sales & account management growth in achieving business objectives;
Qualifications :
- 4-5 years of experience in B2B sales business development or partnership rolespreferably within F&B retail or FMCG industries.
- Proven track record of consistently closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent negotiation presentation and analytical skills.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in selling tech or software solutions to businesses.
- Experience in retail consumer goods startups or ecommerce industry is an absolute advantage;
