**Human Resources Specialist - Recruiting Responsibilities:**
Responsible for managing a full cycle recruiting process. Actively source assess recommend and hire prospective candidates for assigned positions within the corporate and property work groups.
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs screen resumes conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations for both exempt and nonexempt positions
- Execute sourcing strategy (internal and external) to build candidate pipelines and support college recruiting initiatives
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) including candidate activity tracking internal transfer coordination and offer letter preparation
- Provide information and interpretation of HR policies procedures and employment laws to management and team members
- Collect analyze and prepare reports regarding employment-related matters and labor compliance
- Conduct team member orientation and onboarding to ensure a positive new hire experience
- Coordinate team member engagement activities recognition programs and health and benefits events
- Maintain confidentiality and provide high-level internal customer service to support team member HR inquiries
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals
- Assists team members with troubleshooting minor technology or system issues
specific to the shared services systems and escalates unresolved issues within
established timelines. - Performs general administrative office duties including but not limited to:
scheduling meetings creating agendas taking minutes and creating forms and
other documents. - Performs other job related duties as requested.
Qualifications :
**Human Resources Specialist - Recruiting Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years of human resources experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR concepts policies procedures and employment law compliance.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work varied hours including some evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as
required by local gaming regulations.
