Job Description
As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol Driver in Lynwood CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors by following site-specific policies access procedures and security-related protocols and/or assisting with directions and general inquiries.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity identify hazards and report maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting emergency services when appropriate and completing required notifications.
- Monitor entrances and activity within the property helping to manage unauthorized entry loitering and other policy violations through professional presence and verbal de-escalation.
- Document patrol activity incidents and observed conditions in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Speak read and write fluent Spanish.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Handcuffs pepper spray and/or baton experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
