What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients tenants shoppers and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with on-site management and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors stock areas corridors loading areas and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entrances and exits checking credentials when required and assisting with crowd flow and line management during peak shopping periods.
• Document observations incidents and/or policy violations in written reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
