Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Campus Patrol in The Villages FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will conduct routine patrols observe and report unusual activity and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism teamwork and integrity in a fast-paced environment.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and/or staff by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout hospital buildings parking areas and the perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by post and shift.
- Monitor access points and key areas help to deter unauthorized entry and assist with visitor direction staff escorts and/or controlled access processes as assigned.
- Complete security-related reports and documentation communicate observations to site leadership and support investigations of disturbances theft and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
