What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate clinical staff and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including corridors waiting areas parking lots and building perimeter helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entrances checking credentials when required directing foot traffic and assisting with visitor management and after-hours entry procedures.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports patrol logs and shift activity reports and communicate security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be willing to work in a hospital setting where vaccines are present.
• Be willing to work in a hospital setting that includes a morgue.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
