Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex - Armed Retail Patrolin Brownsville TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out post orders security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors entrances parking areas loading docks and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor for and report suspicious activity policy violations and/or hazards helping to deter theft and other unwanted activity through visible presence and professional engagement.
- Respond to incidents alarms disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; coordinate with site management and/or public law enforcement as needed.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation; support access control and crowd management during peak traffic special events and/or store operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
