Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Gate Driver in Pittston PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that may help to reduce incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to associates vendors drivers and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a retail distribution location.
- Control entry and exit points by verifying identification managing visitor and/or contractor logs issuing temporary credentials and directing traffic to appropriate check-in areas.
- Monitor cameras alarms and access control systems to help identify unusual activity report concerns and communicate updates to supervisors and/or site contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including dispatching appropriate resources and completing timely written reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances loading and receiving areas parking areas and the perimeter noting hazards and/or maintenance concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
