Job Summary
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in network security and enterprise networking environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with BGP configuration and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP routing and switching concepts.
- Proven experience in firewall configuration security policy implementation and traffic management.
- Practical experience with SNAT DNAT and Port Forwarding.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience managing firewall policies through Panorama.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PCNSE NSE CCNP Security) will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage secure network architectures to ensure high availability and performance.
- Configure manage and troubleshoot firewalls including Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet devices.
- Administer and maintain centralized firewall management platforms such as Panorama.
- Implement and manage routing protocols particularly BGP to support complex enterprise network environments.
- Configure and manage security policies NAT rules (SNAT DNAT) and port forwarding to ensure secure and optimized traffic flow.
- Monitor network performance and security events; proactively identify and resolve network vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen overall infrastructure security posture.
- Maintain documentation for network configurations policies and procedures.
