Now Hiring: Armed Protection Officers Corporate Headquarters Campus in Benton Harbor MI
Starting at $32 / hour Elite Assignment Full Benefits Career Growth
Allied Universal is seeking highly qualified security professionals to serve as Armed Custom Protection Officers at our clients Global Headquarters (GHQ) campus in St. Joseph Michigan. This is a high-visibility customer-facing assignment requiring exceptional professionalism strong communication skills and sound judgment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide armed security and emergency response across a large corporate campus
- Operate a vehicle as part of a mobile patrol and area surveillance team
- Support local executive protection and event security operations
- Provide local secure transportation for executives
- Serve as a first responder for security incidents and medical emergencies
- Interact with local law enforcement officers
- Deliver high-level customer service to employees executives and visitors
- Identify and report safety or security concerns
- Perform patrols respond to incidents and manage access control
- Monitor safety and security equipment/systems (CCTV Access Control etc.)
- Work within a coordinated well-structured protection program
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- Must be 21 years of age
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Exceptional decision-making skills: ability to effectively operate under pressure.
- Discretion and integrity; trusted to handle sensitive information.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening (as permitted by law)
- Must be willing and able to obtain a valid Michigan Concealed Carry Permit (CCW) upon hire or currently possess one
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement security (such as Military Police Elite Military Forces combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement adult corrections or firefighter field
- Bachelors degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
- Associates degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
- Professional appearance and demeanor; physically fit
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Degree in an area of study relevant to this position
- U.S. military service in a combat arms or military police/security forces capacity
- Certification or training in security management firearms executive protection etc.
