You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents assist staff and visitors with directions and questions and communicate clearly when documenting observations or escalating concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and/or coordinating notifications per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas such as lobbies corridors waiting areas and/or parking areas and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit verify authorized access and/or assist with visitor direction and wayfinding in accordance with site policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management and assist with security-related investigations as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
