Job Summary

About the role

The Case Manager is responsible for the provision of case management and support services to young people living in residential homes. The Case Manager will participate in team planning with residential care workers other case managers other staff and volunteers. Furthermore they are responsible for contributing to best practice Occupational Health & Safety and positively contributing to the development of MacKillop Family Services.

This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity based in ***Preston VIC *** within our Residential Care Program. The position reports to the Coordinator - Case Management.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications (minimum relevant Diploma with substantial experience OR a Bachelor qualification with experience).
  • Sound professional knowledge and theory base.
  • Extensive experience in adolescent welfare practice.
  • Demonstrated professional case management skills especially in crisis intervention and behaviour management.
