Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile-Patrol Clearance Required in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and professionalism. You will support access control practices document activity and partner with site teams to deliver strong customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Perform armed patrol duties maintaining assigned equipment per policy while following all use-of-force guidelines and post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation coordination with site contacts and notification of law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings restricted areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
- Control access by verifying credentials monitoring entry and exit points and completing required logs incident reports and other post documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security experience.
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military and/or security experience or have a college degree.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
