Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Patrol Driver in OWEGO NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures security-related policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production or office areas and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity unsecured doors and/or other conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor and control access at designated entry points by checking identification verifying authorization and directing visitors through check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or outside resources as needed.
- Prepare complete and accurate reports maintain shift activity logs and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and onsite contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
