Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Patrol in Mission Hills CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more. As an Armed driving Patrol Officer at a cultural institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to needs as they arise communicate clearly with staff and guests and document observations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors parishioners and/or event attendees by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting concerns coordinating with site leadership and requesting outside assistance when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings galleries offices and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances visitor flow and restricted areas checking credentials as required and maintaining an orderly presence during services tours and special events.
- Complete routine documentation such as incident reports patrol activity logs and visitor entries and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
