Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 available depending on specialism
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory lessons
Developing pupils design thinking problem-solving and technical capabilities
Supporting coursework controlled assessment and portfolio development
Maintaining high standards of workshop safety and compliance
Contributing to curriculum refinement and departmental innovation
Supporting extracurricular opportunities such as design clubs competitions or STEM enrichment
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or a closely related discipline
Experience teaching DT across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong practical workshop skills and familiarity with CAD/CAM where applicable
Excellent classroom management and high expectations for pupil achievement
A collaborative and professional approach to working within a department
