Job Summary

Physics is a key subject within the Science faculty with strong uptake and a clear focus on delivering rigorous and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students.
The Role
Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 teaching available depending on experience
Delivering high-quality lessons that develop conceptual understanding and analytical thinking
Leading practical investigations with a strong focus on safety and precision
Supporting pupils preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Contributing to curriculum refinement and departmental planning
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Science faculty
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline
Experience teaching Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 highly desirable)
Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for behaviour
The ability to inspire pupils and stretch high-attaining learners
A professional reflective and team-oriented approach
