A well-established and forward-thinking secondary school in Manchester is seeking an experienced and proactive Premises Manager to oversee the management maintenance and development of the schools facilities. This is a full-time permanent leadership support role.

Lead and manage the premises team including caretakers and site staff.
Oversee maintenance repairs and ongoing development of school buildings and grounds.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including fire safety risk assessments and statutory checks.
Manage site security systems including alarms access control and CCTV.
Supervise contractors and manage service agreements.
Plan and manage premises budgets and expenditure.
Ensure facilities are prepared for events lettings and exams.
Proven experience in premises facilities or estates management (school experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and statutory compliance.
Experience managing staff and coordinating contractors.
