OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
- Build a safe autonomous and highly productive environment that enable R&D Japan employees to focus on their research and project work by delivering operational processes and site management guidelines as a platform that supports innovation and research excellence.
- Drive the end-to-end lifecycle management of newly emerging or revised business processes resulting from changes in evolving Takeda R&D strategies and/or relationship with the site owner (iPark) by optimizing user experience organizational capacity and cost efficiency while leveraging AI/digital technologies and external service providers to ensure scalable agile and business-aligned operational models
- Establish a data-driven operational governance framework that enables continuous monitoring evaluation and improvement of site operations ensuring transparency informed decision-making and alignment with strategic priorities across R&D and site stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIE
Engage with External/Internal Stakeholder
Lead topic-driven discussions to address complex operational challenges engaging with the site owner (iPark) internal SMEs and R&D Leaderships on operational procedure changes and system enhancements from a enterprise-wide process optimization perspective. Ensure alignment with tenant requirements while maintaining a positive owner-tenant relationship.
Simultaneously engage with R&D members (primally in Shonan but potentially expansion to Osaka) to capture requirements that enable sustained focus on core R&D priorities achieving an optimum balance between overall process optimization and individual accountability. Drive consensus and influence decision-making across diverse stakeholders.
Streamlined Operational Process Design
Architect and govern internal site operation processes by defining clear roles and responsibilities between the site owner and tenant. Re-design efficient scalable workflows that accommodate tenant-specific constraints while aligning with organizational goal.
Digital Tool Development and Management
Shape the digital transformation roadmap for site operations identifying opportunities within redesigned processes where additional efficiencies can be achieved and determine the most effective digital solutions.
In addition drive the end-to-end lifecycle of digital solutions through hands-on development or by directing other colleagues or third-party vendors. Ensure timely delivery post-launch optimization and lifecycle management to sustain performance and drive continuous improvement.
Engage with External/Internal Stakeholder

Streamlined Operational Process Design
サイト運営に関する社内プロセスを設計しサイトオーナーとテナント間の明確な役割と責任を定義しますテナント特有の制約を考慮し組織目標に沿った効率的で拡張可能なワークフローを再設計します
Digital Tool Development and Management
サイト運営におけるデジタルトランスフォーメーションのロードマップ策定に貢献し再設計されたプロセス内でさらなる効率化が可能な領域を特定し最適なデジタルソリューションを決定します
加えてデジタルソリューションのライフサイクル全体を推進し提案から開発導入運用までを自身でまたはチームメンバーや外部ベンダーを指揮しながら実施しますタイムリーなデリバリー導入後の最適化ライフサイクル管理を確実に行いパフォーマンスの維持と継続的改善を推進します

EDUCATION BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Education: MBA and/or BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline are required.
- Professional Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in back-office / business operations and their optimization with a strong track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business improvements or in closely related areas.
- Project & Process Management: 5 years of experience in project management or business process redesign optimization and analytics
- Digital Transformation: 3 years of end-to-end project experience in digitalization or system implementation covering the full lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment including the creation of specialized deliverables (User Requirement Specification Functional Specification etc.)
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in data model design supported by fundamental knowledge of databases and data warehouses ETL processes and SQL. Experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform and familiarity with DAX is preferred.
- Industry Experience: 3 years of experiencein back-office operations within R&D functions of a pharmaceutical or other manufacturing industry either as an employee or as a vendor is preferred.
- Strategic & Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think strategically adapt to evolving business needs and work effectively in global cross-cultural environments by fostering collaboration and navigating diverse perspectives.
