You will be joining one of the largest Real Estate Investment Trusts in the world as we rapidly expand into the UK and European markets including moving into new offices at 3 St. Jamess Square.

Position Overview:
You willbe responsible forsourcing acquisitions for investment opportunities in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe and underwriting transactions. Additionally this role will create and cultivate new relationships that can aid in sourcing investment potential. Reporting to the Senior Director International Investments the duties will include acquisitions underwriting opportunity sourcing transaction management and investment research for potential transactions. This position will partner with various internal teams to analyse the overall real estate market communicate acquisition pipelinetargetsand negotiate terms that are in-line with the companys acquisitionsobjectives therefore playingan important rolein shaping and growing Realty Incomes UK/European platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify analyse and pursue real estate investment opportunities in the UK and Europe.
Participate alongside the Managing Director and Senior Director in the negotiation of deal terms and communication with counterparties.
Coordinate and manage deals through the transaction life cycle.
Work alongside the Analyst team to model potential returns for prospective investments.
Oversee the creation of investment memorandums for presentation to the Investment Committee and/or the Board of Directors.
Manage the investment pipeline contact database and other key tools utilised by the team.
Lead the groups regular reporting efforts by working with both the US and London teams.
Help the team and the Investment Committee stay apprised and competitive by tracking competitor performance and market activity.
Approach the role with a positive attitude a diligent work ethic and a sense of ownership.
Consistentlyoperateas a team player encouraging empowering andassistingother team members with the teams success as the primary focus.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work with internal team members and external advisors to build investment cases for opportunities to be considered by the Investment Committee.
Collaborate with the Research team toidentifynew occupiers business sectors property types and geographies for investment consideration.
Utilise internal and external contacts to gather market information and data that may be helpful to the teamsobjectives.
Travel up to 15% of the time with overnight stays
Drive during travel to tenant sites
CandidateRequirements
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Must havefor the role:
Suitable European Real Estate acquisitions experience gained in either a Private Equity Fund or an Investment Bank (or similar).
Experience underwriting real estate transactions including corporate/entity-level deals portfolios and asset-level deals (familiarity withlogistics industrial infrastructureretailand/or manufacturing assets)
Fluency in a European language eitherFrench GermanFrench ItalianPolishor Spanish.
Fluency in English is essential.
Combination of business acumen and strong analytical and financial modelling skills (including DCF).
Strong public speaking skills and sharp attention to detail combined with tenacity drive and a desire to succeed.
Given the start-up nature of the UK office a high degree of entrepreneurial initiative iswitha strong senseof autonomy and accountability.
A teamplayermentality that is focused on working with others to achieve a common goal.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.
A strong academictrack record ideally afirst-classundergraduate degree preferred focus on Real Estate Business Commerce or Finance.
