Job Description:
The Manager HR Talent Acquisition will lead end-to-end recruitment strategies for a steel manufacturing organization ensuring timely hiring of skilled technical and managerial talent across plant and corporate functions. The role requires strong expertise in industrial recruitment workforce planning bulk hiring and employer branding within the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals and production targets.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for plant operations engineering maintenance quality safety and corporate roles.
Lead bulk hiring drives for blue-collar and technical workforce in manufacturing units.
Collaborate with plant heads and department managers to forecast manpower requirements and succession planning.
Build talent pipelines for critical and niche roles in steel manufacturing.
Oversee campus recruitment apprenticeship programs and industry partnerships.
Ensure compliance with labor laws industrial regulations and company hiring policies.
Optimize sourcing channels including job portals recruitment agencies employee referrals and social media.
Track recruitment metrics (TAT cost-per-hire quality-of-hire) and present reports to leadership.
Strengthen employer branding initiatives to attract skilled industrial talent.
Lead and mentor the talent acquisition team.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of manufacturing and steel industry hiring practices
Expertise in blue-collar and technical recruitment
Workforce planning and manpower budgeting
Vendor and stakeholder management
Data-driven recruitment analytics
Knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations
Strong leadership and communication skills
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field
812 years of HR experience with at least 46 years in talent acquisition within manufacturing/steel industry
Proven experience in bulk hiring and plant staffing
