IT Technical Support

Position Description:

As a Junior Consultant your role will involve providing support to employees in installing and configuring computer hardware software systems/servers networks printers and documentation

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Installing and configuring Computer Hardware Software/Applications Systems/Servers Networks/Access Points/Firewall Printers Telephony/Fax and User guide.
. Initiate and maintain a good relationship with the members.
. Cooperate and coordinate your activities with other team members
. Conduct daily health checks on the office IT Infrastructure and provide reports.
. Assist with the setting up of new joiners computers ensuring they have the necessary hardware software and access to tools.
. Installing configuring and maintaining computer hardware software systems networks printers and other related devices.
. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site.
. Responding to member inquiries and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
. Performing system upgrades patches and backups as required.
. Update Inventory management maintains a list of all IT assets and track assets from purchased to disposal
. Conducting regular maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and security of IT systems/workstations.
. Conduct user training sessions for new projects and create user manuals. when required.
. Assisting in the planning implementation and testing of IT projects.
. Request for assigning a teams call number for new joiner.
. Assist in creating RRF/PR/StarProc for AMC / upgrade / New product quotations.
. Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in IT.
. Keep the planned budget of man-days
. Follow the Team Leaders or IT Managers instructions.
. Perform any administrative task requested by the Team Leader or IT Manager.
. Keep on-call support as agreed with the Team Leader or IT Manager.
. Keep Team Lead and IT Manager informed on the status of pending task.
. Reports on progress of exceptions and problem solving to the Team Lead and IT manager
. Organize meetings with members of the group when required.
. Proactively look for ways to improve and better the service through cost savings and process improvements.
