This role provides hands-on support education and care coordination under RN supervision to patients managing kidney failure at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with training patients and caregivers on PD procedures
- Support clinical team with patient monitoring documentation and equipment prep
- Conduct home supply inventory and assist with arranging deliveries
- Monitor vital signs and collect lab specimens as needed
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses dietitians and social workers
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma general education development (GED) credential or equivalent
- Valid drivers license reliable transportation and insurance
- Comfortable working with medical supplies blood and needles
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts and on-your-feet work
- Healthcare experience (CNA MA CHT phlebotomy) preferred
