We are seeking to engage with a client focused professional and entrepreneurial Construction Project Manager who wishes to join a proactive team. Working across projects in Retail Hospitality Healthcare Education Industrial and Commercial industries you will join the Colliers team benefiting from exposure to all manner of clients. You are joining a business that focuses on working together client service and identifying and driving new business.
The Project Manager is responsible for:
- The operational delivery of projects in line with client and contractual requirements; program and procedures; and all relevant legislation
- Management of project personnel to ensure superior team performance in all aspects of project delivery including scope time cost and profitability quality human resources communications risk management health safety and environment and procurement
- Contributing to the tendering process particularly in relation to methodology buildability risk management and subcontractor involvement
- Assisting the Associate Director/ Senior Project Manager in the development and maintenance of superior client and key stakeholder relationships
- Chairing and minuting meetings as required
- Ensuring Developed systems and procedures are fully implemented to ensure that the business is not at risk of non-compliance with third party accreditations
- Risk and Opportunities are tracked on the project to ensure the Client is aware of the key issues on the project regularly.
Qualifications :
Desired background
- Minimum 5 years within the industry.
- University degree qualified in Project Management Engineering Architecture Planning Design or Construction. Qualifications in formal project methodologies is desirable.
- End-to-end project oversight and delivery of construction projects - including project planning budget management risk management issue management personnel management client management commercial issue management testing management. An understanding of the real estate / property industry is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral ability to converse with all levels of staff from senior level management to technical staff.
- It is essential to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint Word Excel) and Microsoft Project.
We are ideally looking for a self-motivated pro-active individual who can work well on their own as well as having a desire to collaborate and add value to the wider Project Leaders team.
