Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Fund Accounting !
We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to provide strategic leadership and oversight across fund formation legal and tax structuring debt and treasury management compliance and financial reporting. This role ensures seamless coordination of multi-jurisdictional fund activities drives operational excellence and leads cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Strategic Fund Formation & Legal Structuring
Lead and strategize fund and tier-entity venture formation including complex legal structuring and REIT tax considerations across multiple jurisdictions.
Oversee due diligence processes including preparation and review of war room materials (DD PPM FAQs) and manage progression from initial inquiry to hard commitments.
Guide transaction closings ensuring comprehensive legal document management and accurate purchase price valuation
Lead the end-to-end fund NAV calculation process asset-level cash flow analyses and quarterly performance forecasting.
Oversee preparation of operational financial reports and high-level investors shareholders and board presentations
Debt & Treasury Strategy
Drive fund and asset-level debt sourcing negotiation and refinancing strategies to optimize capital structure and cost of capital.
Provide leadership in managing asset treasury operations including bank account administration and cash management under CFA guidelines
Supervise administration of JV and loan agreements ensuring compliance with lender covenants and financial reporting obligations
Tax & Regulatory Oversight
Provide high-level oversight of all taxation aspects including project tier entity and fund-level taxes ensuring alignment with evolving tax laws and regulations.
Lead continuous monitoring of local and international tax changes and guide adaptation of fund strategies accordingly
Oversee standardized capital calls distribution notices and investor communication related to taxation and compliance
Foster strong relationships with internal departments investors auditors legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and fund performance.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead and mentor managers and senior staff fostering a high-performance culture focused on accuracy compliance and innovation.
Collaborate with legal tax compliance investor relations and portfolio teams to align operational and strategic objectives.
Represent the organization with external auditors regulators investors and partners to maintain trust and transparency.
Drive continuous process improvements and strategic initiatives to enhance fund management and operational efficiency
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting & finance or professional certification (CPA CFA JD) preferred
experience in fund accounting or financial operations debt and treasury management and tax compliance
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Deep understanding of fund operations regulatory frameworks and financial reporting standards

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Commercial real estate fund accounting is preferred
Proficiency with fund accounting software and financial modeling tools is a plus
