Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for completing tasks associated with developing improving and maintaining relationships between the organization and the community as well as contributing to the organizations internal inclusion and belonging strategy and value proposition.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads planning delivery and evaluation of community outreach programs with minimal oversight.

  • In partnership with internal stakeholders contributes to the development and internal and external communication of the organizations employee value proposition.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with community partners local organizations and nonprofit agencies to advance company priorities.

  • Writes edits and releases advanced communications including press releases official statements event scripts talking points and web content.

  • Conducts research on community needs event trends and partner feedback to refine outreach strategies.

  • Develops tracking systems and reporting mechanisms to measure program impact and present findings to management.

  • Identifies opportunities for new initiatives partnerships or sponsorships aligned with company goals.

  • Provides informal coaching onboarding support and subject-matter guidance to junior representatives.

  • Serves as an escalation point for routine issues and supports planning for larger or more complex events.

  • Manages vendor relationships contract coordination and budget tracking for assigned programs.

  • Applies advanced knowledge of community relations best practices to address moderately complex challenges.

  • Partners with the HR and Communications leaders to develop and manage Stewarts Culture Ambassador program including focus on Inclusion & Belonging Community and Wellness.

  • Communicate program events observances and related opportunities to drive employee involvement.

  • Track and measure the progress of community culture and engagement and research best practice to continually enhance Stewarts approach.

  • Individual contributor with general oversight.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in communications public relations or related field preferred.

Experience

  • Typically requires 5 years of community relations corporate communications or public affairs experience.
