QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mastersdegree required
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Valid Texas Principal Certification or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of effective research: change process systems thinking organizational culture and adult learners
- Ability to plan implement deliver and sustain professional development for school and district personnel
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum practices instruction assessment school improvement and organizational culture
- Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the Executive Director
- Recommended by ESC Executive Director
CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all personal timekeeping travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position
- Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job
- Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities
- Supports the mission goals and objectives of the ESC
- Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC
- Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies processes and procedures
- Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor
- Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor

DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in TEA-required trainings related to Texas Strategic Staffing (TSS) Texas Mentoring Training (TMT) ESSA Talent Plan and other state-aligned talent initiatives to ensure regional expertise and fidelity of implementation.
- Coordinate and oversee comprehensive support for TSS districts across Design and Implementation Years including strategic planning professional learning coaching structures and ongoing technical assistance.
- Design and facilitate regional TMT professional learning systems utilizing a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) model to build district capacity and ensure sustainability.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with LEAs and EPPs aligning districts to the appropriate PREP Allotment pathways and supporting informed decision-making.
- Plan and deliver professional learning and technical assistance focused on teacher retention strategies educator certification pathways test preparation supports EPP alignment and PREP Allotment implementation.
- Coordinate and oversee the Region 13 Educator Certification Program including supervision structures field supervisor support compliance monitoring and program quality assurance.
- Provide strategic leadership for ESC Talent Initiatives ensuring alignment to regional priorities and district needs.
- Collaborate across Talent Initiatives and ESC departments to ensure alignment with Educator Development Framework (EDF) priorities and integrated service delivery.
- Monitor and ensure grant compliance for TSS TMT and ESSA Talent Plan grants including budgeting documentation reporting and performance measures.
- Work collaboratively with ESC staff to provide consistent instructional and leadership supports
- Conduct and coordinate on-site LEA visits to assess implementation progress provide executive coaching and strengthen district partnerships.
- Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by supervisor in support of ESC strategic priorities.
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS:
Additional projects as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Up to 226 working days
- This is an at-will employment position.
- In the event of an economic slump a reduction-in-force may be necessary. Employees will be notified in writing.

Grant Funded - TSS TMT and ESSA Talent Plan Grant
