- Mastersdegree required
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Valid Texas Principal Certification or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of effective research: change process systems thinking organizational culture and adult learners
- Ability to plan implement deliver and sustain professional development for school and district personnel
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum practices instruction assessment school improvement and organizational culture
- Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the Executive Director
- Recommended by ESC Executive Director
CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all personal timekeeping travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position
- Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job
- Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities
- Supports the mission goals and objectives of the ESC
- Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC
- Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies processes and procedures
- Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor
- Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in TEA trainings for Texas Strategic Staffing (TSS) Texas Mentoring Training (TMT) ESSA Talent Plan and any other trainings required by TEA
- Support TSS districts through design year and implementation year (trainings coaching and technical assistance)
- Redeliver TMT through a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) model
- Build relationships with LEAs & EPPs and recruit them to the right PREP Allotment
- Provide professional development and/or technical assistance on teacher retention strategiesEducator Certifications and Test Prep EPP programs and PREP Allotment
- Coordinate the Region 13 Educator Certification Program (including our field supervisors)
- Support ESC Talent Initiatives
- Collaborate with other Talent Initiatives to ensure alignment with EDF
- Ensure grant compliance for the TSS TMT and ESSA Talent Plan grant
- Work collaboratively with ESC staff to provide consistent instructional and leadership supports
- Provide on-site visits to LEAs as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS:
Additional projects as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Up to 226 working days
- This is an at-will employment position.
- In the event of an economic slump a reduction-in-force may be necessary. Employees will be notified in writing.
