University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Psychologist for mental health to join our team in Livonia MI. This position involves providing comprehensive psychological services to support the mental well-being of our clients. The ideal candidate will work closely limited license physiologists providing a program for employees to gain hours and knowledge. They will work with patients to assess diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each clients needs.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals families and groups.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in psychological research and best practices.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Psychologist or eligibility for licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in mental health assessment diagnosis and treatment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
