JOB SUMMARY
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing the hotels social media strategy to strengthen brand positioning increase engagement and support commercial objectives across rooms food & beverage spa weddings and events. This position manages day-to-day social media activities builds brand visibility through storytelling and ensures alignment with overall marketing digital and sales strategies. The role works closely with Operations F&B Sales Revenue and Creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns that drive awareness preference and revenue.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing Communications Digital Media Business Administration or related major and 4 years experience in social media digital marketing content marketing or related professional area; hospitality or agency experience preferred
OR
4-year bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Digital Media Business Administration or related major; 2 years experience in social media digital marketing or related professional area; hospitality or luxury brand experience preferred
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develops and executes the hotels social media strategy aligned with commercial objectives
Manages day-to-day content planning publishing and engagement across all social platforms
Ensures brand voice visual identity and tone are consistent across channels
Identifies trends visual content opportunities and platform innovations relevant to the Jakarta market
Promotes and protects brand equity across digital channels
Executes the annual social media plan in consultation with key leadership stakeholders
Partners with Operations and F&B teams to execute campaigns that drive incremental revenue
Monitors engagement and proactively manages online community interactions
Tracks and analyzes performance metrics and provides optimization recommendations
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains coordination with Digital and Commercial leaders
Supports online reputation management across social platforms
Ensures timely and brand-compliant content execution
