Childrens Services are recruiting a part-time (18.5 hours) Business Analyst to join the Shared Care Information Systems (SCIS) Team which delivers system developments for Early Help and Social Care. The role will predominantly develop and support the online Childrens and Singleview Portals.

As a SCIS Business Analyst you will be responsible for researching best practice analysing system options mapping current and designing new processes and directly build the changes in the systems. You will evidence your activity by writing business cases process maps options appraisals and reports.

We are looking for candidates who are able to:
  • Communicate clearly with people such as senior leaders front line staff software suppliers and IT colleagues.
  • Write and communicate complexity in plain English for everyone to understand.
  • Develop processes to bring efficiencies to find simple solutions to big issues.
  • Support users of online portals.
  • Work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Attend the office a minimum of one day per week in Eastbourne or Lewes as well as some home working.

Previous experience of working in Childrens Services or with SystemC software is an advantage.
