This position may be filled at the Event Manager or Senior Event Manager level depending on the candidates experience leadership background and demonstrated event RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Core Responsibilities (Event Manager Level)Plan coordinate and execute weddings corporate events and member functions from initial consultation to event the entire event planning process including client meetings vendor coordination timelines and event strong relationships with clients providing exceptional service and addressing client needs closely with the resorts banquets marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of all contracts with vendors and suppliers ensuring favorable terms and cost budgets for each event ensuring profitability while maintaining high service and resolve any issues that arise during the planning or execution clients on food & beverage packages furnishings and décor as compliance with health safety and legal regulations for all updated on industry trends and continually seek ways to enhance the event experience at Destination Scope (Senior Event Manager Level)In addition to the above responsibilities Senior Event Managers may:Lead high-revenue large-scale or multi-day events requiring advanced logistical to strategic initiatives to increase event bookings and maximize and support junior event team in refining event processes pricing strategies and service strong referral networks and cultivate repeat business & EXPERIENCERequired for All CandidatesBachelors degree in hospitality event management or related field or equivalent in event management preferably within a resort hotel private club or high-end venue organizational customer service and communication to manage multiple events simultaneously and solve problems in real of and respect for the collaborative relationship with catering/banquets kitchen to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced in event management software and Microsoft developing event concepts and proposals coordinating vendors and suppliers managing budgets and logistics and ensuring high-quality to work evenings weekends and holidays as Qualifications for Senior Event Manager ConsiderationFive or more years of progressive event management success managing complex or high-profile mentoring team members or providing leadership within an events ability to drive revenue growth and enhance client CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSUse of computer keyboardInteract verbally and onlineAccess to meeting rooms & golf coursesOccasional light lifting and event set-upSoftware to include but not be limited to Microsoft Office Delphi PMS systems Proposal Path
