This role leads Regional PMO Risk Management and Project Controls to strengthen project execution and support business goals. It drives standardized processes KPIs reporting and digitization while promoting project management excellence. The role also supports schedule and cost management in both ITO and OTR helping improve planning mitigate overruns and protect project margins.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support the review of new opportunities and lead enterprise-wide risk assessment across the GSI project portfolio with a focus on high-risk projects and effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage cross-functional risk assessments in a matrix environment maintain risk registers drive project reviews and share lessons learned across ITO OTR and other business lines.
- Drive key project and business performance metrics such as deal structuring margin enhancement on-time delivery resource utilization quality safety and consistent KPI reporting across regions.
- Promote standardized project management methodologies governance tools Delegation of Authority and workload models while strengthening the project management culture and community.
- Provide financial and technical leadership for risk management strategy development support contract and service proposal reviews and expand the use of risk assessment tools and automated analytics.
- Lead the regional Project Controls team for schedule and cost control ensuring compliance with global standards proper resource allocation and proactive management of portfolio-wide cost and schedule risks.
- Oversee project controls support across tendering and execution including tender reviews project launch readiness schedule and cost reporting risk mitigation claims management and project closeout.
- Lead team development performance management EHS leadership and quality and lean improvement initiatives to ensure strong capability compliance and continuous operational improvement.
Required Qualification:
- Solid experience in high-voltage substation project engineering.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred.
- Strong background in project management operations or project controls within complex project organizations.
- Deep expertise in planning Primavera project cost control and forensic analysis on large turnkey projects.
- Proven communication negotiation coaching and influencing skills with the ability to engage effectively at executive level.
- High-energy self-motivated leader with strong process execution and operational skills capable of managing multiple priorities across geographic and business boundaries.
- Advanced English and Portuguese required Spanish desirable with willingness to travel to sites manufacturing facilities and customer or partner offices as needed.
