The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research leads the institutions broad research enterprise including a university-wide array of faculty and staff research programs with total annual expenditures of nearly $2 billion and assures compliance with federal state and University research regulations.
The Conflict of Interest (COI) Compliance Manager supports this compliance framework by managing the annual collection and review of approximately 15000 online disclosures of outside activities and financial interests from researchers and others. This position serves as a primary administrator for the COI Committee review processes ensuring timely and accurate assessment of significant financial interests that could impact the design conduct or reporting of federally funded research or research involving human participants. The COI Compliance Manager collaborates closely with the COI Committee campus administrators and researchers to eliminate minimize or manage actual or potential financial conflicts of interest related to research.
The COI Compliance Manager reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Policy and Integrity and will assist in developing maintaining and implementing COI policies procedures and workflows and coordinating and promoting research integrity among the university community.

The minimum annual salary for this position is $90000 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
