Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Senior QA
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer with expertise in API automation using REST Assured and UI automation using . You will be part of a cross-functional Agile team contributing to high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks continuous testing and integration of quality practices within the SDLC. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript a deep understanding of software testing principles and familiarity with modern DevOps tools and cloud environments
Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
Write and execute automated test cases using REST Assured (API) and (UI).
Collaborate with developers product managers and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
Perform test execution reporting and defect tracking.
Work with tools like Postman and Swagger for API validation and documentation.
Ensure high test coverage and improve test efficiency using modern reporting tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
Contribute to a scalable QA strategy and continuously enhance testing processes.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Experience working in the fintech industry or with digital wallets payment systems or similar applications.
Expertise in micro-frontend architectures and scalable web applications.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Exposure to BDD frameworks.
Familiarity with Test Case Management tools.
Understanding of microservices architecture and how to test distributed systems.
Proficient with modern front-end build tools like Webpack Vite or similar bundlers.
Strong debugging and profiling skills to identify bottlenecks and optimize web applications.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to approach complex challenges with innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong understanding of QA methodologies testing types (manual and automated) and SDLC
Proficiency in test automation tools: Selenium Cypress Playwright JUnit TestNG etc.
Experience with scripting languages: JavaScript Python or Java
REST API testing tools: Postman Swagger RestAssured
Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps
Version control systems: Git GitHub GitLab
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication
