The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic advocate for student learning possessing the skills and knowledge to create a positive and engaging classroom environment. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal development of our students fostering a love of Jesus a desire for learning and a passion for building community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Librarian for our small school library including managing inventory circulation and volunteers
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for technology education
- Work with our Academics and Instruction leadership team to design and implement age-appropriate technology curriclum.
- Embrace and integrate the Catholic faith into classroom instruction and activities fostering an environment where students can grow spiritually as well as academically.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued respected and motivated to succeed.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Actively collaborate with colleagues administrators and parents to support the holistic development of each student.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education Library Science or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Prior experience teaching elementary school students; experience in a Catholic school and/or in a lead teacher position are a plus. This position includes teaching to the entire school (Grades K2-8) and requires flexible classroom management!
- As this position includes curation of library resources applicants should be practicing Catholics with a clear understanding of the Catholic faith. We are looking for individuals who are eager to share their faith and values with our students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues parents and administrators.
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering the growth of their faith life academic potential and social/emotional health.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Salary Range: Our salary range for typical candidates falls between $52000 and $58000 but is negotiable based on experience. Full time positions include a full suite of benefits including health dental 401k match and more offered through RCAB.
