Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 26-week night shift assignment in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and comfortable managing a telemetry patient population in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Shift & Unit Details

  • 3x12-hour night shifts ()

  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:45

  • Block scheduling not available

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York RN License (must be in hand)

  • BLS Certification

  • ACLS Certification

  • Flu Vaccine or approved exemption

  • Minimum 2 years RN experience

  • At least 1 year current telemetry experience

  • Epic charting experience required

Telemetry Requirements

  • Must be able to independently read and interpret cardiac rhythms

  • Must pass hospital proctored rhythm test:

    • 80% overall rhythm identification accuracy

    • 100% accuracy identifying critical rhythms

Preferred Experience

  • Critical drip experience

  • CVA (Stroke) patient care experience
