Job Summary
Deschutes Brewery is hiring for a full-time prep cook at our Portland pub! We are a fun full-service kitchen that delivers high quality food beer and experiences to our guests and staff. We are looking for new co-owners who are driven excel in a fast-paced kitchen and are committed to the highest standards of quality and presentation with a guest first focus. Previous experience with scratch recipes in a full-service kitchen and knife skills are important for this role. Must have weekend availability!
What youll be doing:
- Preparing food following standardized recipes following proper food preparation rotation storage and handling procedures
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
- Utilizing tools appropriately and following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure proper portions minimize waste and ensure food safety
Requirements of the position:
- Previous cooking experience preferably in a fast-paced kitchen
- Basic knife skills
- Scratch cooking knowledge
- Weekend availability
